Originally from Hong Kong, Jo started his rugby journey as a 12 year old boy playing for Merchiston Castle school in Edinburgh. After leaving school, his coaching journey has involved working under Claire Cruikshank and now Louise Dalgliesh as part of the Edinburgh University Ladies Rugby Club - learning from these two great coaches.

As well as coaching rugby, Jo has also been a qualified rugby referee for Scottish Rugby Union since 2020 and he has officiated in National league and Women's Premiership fixtures. The big dream for Jo would be getting involved in the World biggest stage in the near future.

Jo will work within the Lasswade High School - School of Rugby programme, as well as throughout the local Primary Schools within our local catchment area building on our community links, bringing growth to our Youth sections of the Club.

Over the next few weeks, Jo will be out and about meeting as many of our amazing kids, parents, players and supporters as possible. So if you spot him around the club, be sure to give him a big Lasswade hello ?
