Back into the team came Chris Hall & Daniel Freeland amongst the forwards & Ciaran was moved to stand-off with Andy moving back to his usual fullback role with Callum Bradley back from injury joining Mark Wilson to form a new centre partnership.
Straight from the kickoff Musselburgh started to put pressure on Lasswade with their strong running backs already showing that they were willing to run the ball at every opportunity & indeed it took 12 minutes before their centre managed to break through the Lasswade defence to score the matches first try which was duly converted 0-7
3 minutes later Musselburgh looked to be ready to celebrate their 2nd try of the match but a superb try saving tackle by Mark Wilson forced the Musselburgh winger into touch a metre short of the tryline.Their celebrations were only briefly held up as within 2 minutes after being awarded a penalty in front of the posts they decided to run it & scored a unconverted try 0-12
At this point Oliver Whiting came on after Steven Hunter injured his shoulder for his first runout for Lasswade,shortly after this Lasswade were further behind after being awarded a penalty for a scrum infringement Musselburgh set up a ruck from the tap & with the Lasswade defence unable to stop the player peeling from the back of the ruck to bring the score upto 0-17
Hunter re-appeared on the pitch for Dickson but his rest was short lived as he was back on for Whiting after he received an ankle injury from a collapsed scrum.Musselburgh then stepped up a gear & scored a further 5 tries with 3 of them converted within 15 mins to bring the halftime score upto 0-48

It took Musselburgh barely 2 mins of the 2nd half to score their next unconverted try 0-53 but within a minute Lasswade were finally on the scoreboard with a penalty kick from Andy Hall to break the duck & bring the score to 3-53
With 6 mins into the 2nd half Bradley Moffat fresh off the plane from Kenya mearly 1hr earlier came on for Chris Hall & his fellow traveller Sean Haddon was on for Ryan Collins & a minute later Andy hall kicked his 2nd penalty & Lasswade’s final points of the match to bring back the score to 6-53
Lasswade then proceded to get on the wrong side of the referee resulting in him starting to lose patience with them where after Steven Simpson was pinged for a supposed dump tackle were given their final warning which resulted in 2 minutes later seeing Mark Wilson being yellow carded for handling in a ruck.
Lasswade were able to manfully repel their line for another 8 mins before Musselburgh were able to cross the tryline for a unconverted try bringing the score upto 6-58 there would be now further scores until after Lasswade were back upto full complement where in the last 10 minutes of the match they went onto score another 3 converted tries to bring the final score upto 6-79
